greenish gray color.

Marquette Rhyolite has primary outcroppings in Fox River Basin in east
central to south central Wisconsin. It is primarily found as large
boulders and cobble. This is a local material rarely found north
of Lake Winnebago.

Marquette Rhyolite was an important lithic
material for the late Paleo to early Archaic cultures. It was rarely
